Solomons Rehab and Care Center is an 95 bed community offering skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Whether an individual comes to us for short-term rehabilitative services, long-term skilled nursing care, palliative care or respite care, it is our goal to provide the very best health care in the most compassionate and caring manner possible. We promote and encourage a homelike atmosphere and utilize a “Team Care” approach. This method of care involves the resident along with family members, physicians and other integral staff members to assist in planning the resident’s stay and to promote their highest level of well being.

Our Medical Director
At Solomons we’ve partnered with a medical director, Dr Benner, to provide cutting edge care to our residents. Dr Benner has servered Solomons for several years along with a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. We feel that providing a dedicated specialist on our staff sets us above our competition. The high quality and comprehensive care we deliver to our residents is a result of our association with leading doctors, therapists and the extraordinary skill and efforts of our staff. Our Board Certified Physicians are an advantage that we have over other centers. It is important to all of us how each resident is feeling each day, including how they look, how they eat, sleep etc. When we know what a resident’s “normal” looks like, it is easier to catch and prevent episodes of heightened acuity including possible hospital stay. Our programmatic goals include keeping residents from needing a hospital stay.
